Bald Eagle / Birds of Prey Tour February 22, 2025

Join us in Denver, Colorado as we teach you the basics of photographing Bald Eagles. This tour is intended for beginner/novice photographers who want to improve photographing birds in flight and gain an understanding of bird behavior. No super fancy cameras required! If you would like to rent a camera for this experience, we can provide one at an additional charge. Please inquire about camera rentals by using our Contact Form. 

As part of your tour, you will be provided an in-depth video tutorial of how to edit your images and save them for web and print ($99 value)

This tour is one-on-one, but we can accommodate two photographers - please contact us for this option.  Each participant is responsible for travel to the photography location. Tour begins at 9am and will end at 2:00pm. Lunch and water provided. 

We will be walking extensively. After purchase, you will receive an email with a general liability waiver and more information on what to bring for a successful experience. Please check your Junk/Spam folder if you do not see the email. 

Saturday, February 22nd

During your five hour tour, you will learn how to: 

* Locate Bald Eagles

* Track, compose, and photograph a Bald Eagle in flight

* Understand the different applications for Manual, Shutter Priority and Aperture Priority modes

* Learn Bald Eagle behavior to increase your chances of photography success

 Other raptors we may encounter (this is a probability but not a guarantee):

* Golden Eagles

* Red-tailed Hawks

* Ferruginous Hawks

* Rough-legged Hawks

* Kestrels

* Prairie Falcons

* Northern Harriers 

* Owls

In the event of inclement weather, or in the event we do not encounter any Bald Eagles, you will be given a make-up tour. Please contact us with any questions.
